Building Artistic Bridges: From Istanbul and Berlin to the World
We started by creating art prints with Istanbul-based artists — now we’re expanding to include voices from Palestine, Iran, Ukraine, Syria…
Art doesn’t stop at borders — and neither do we. What began as a creative collaboration between artists from Istanbul and Berlin is now growing into a global platform that connects diverse voices, stories, and aesthetics across regions and realities.
Istanbul to Berlin: A Creative Journey
Our story started with a simple but powerful idea: to make high-quality art prints by emerging Istanbul-based artists available to audiences in Berlin and beyond. Istanbul, with its unique position between East and West, is home to a vibrant art scene that blends tradition and experimentation in fascinating ways. The prints we curated with local artists brought that spirit into homes, studios, and galleries across Berlin.
More Than Prints: Stories That Travel
But this project is more than just beautiful prints. Each piece carries a story — of identity, memory, resistance, transformation, or hope. These artworks spark conversations and connections, crossing cultural and political boundaries.
With growing interest and support from our community, we’re now ready to take the next step.
Expanding art: Palestinian, Iranian, Israeli, Ukrainian and Russian, India, Pakistanian Artists
We are opening our platform to artists from regions facing complex challenges — and producing powerful, resonant work as a result. That includes creatives from Palestine, Israel, Iran, and Ukraine, Russia.
This isn’t about taking sides — it’s about giving space to diverse perspectives and creating space for artistic expression across boundaries. We believe that art from these regions has something urgent and universal to say, and we want to amplify those voices through carefully curated, high-quality art prints.
We had many conversations with young professionals from the creative scenes in regions affected by conflict. At first, we weren’t sure whether to move forward with this project—there are no words to fully express the pain we feel. But they encouraged us, reminding us that it’s not about you or me. They inspired us to pursue this idea: when governments are in conflict, people should stand together. We must not let violence divide us. No government should have the power to invade, kill, or destroy human lives.
A Global Art Print Collective
Our mission is to build an international network of artists who inspire each other — and their audiences. Every print we release is not just a product, but a bridge. A connection between people, cultures, and ideas.
We aim to create a space where artists can be seen and supported, and where buyers know their print carries meaning — not just beauty.

Want to Join the Collective?
We’re currently expanding our artist collective and are looking for Palestinian, Israeli, Iranian, and Ukrainian artists to collaborate with us on our next art print editions.
If you’re an artist interested in joining, we’d love to hear from you.
Please send us an email at info@kulaberlin.de with the following:
- A short portfolio PDF or link to your website/instagram
- Your artist name or artwork title (let us know if you prefer to remain anonymous — just state that clearly in the email)
- A brief introduction about you and your work
We welcome all visual styles — illustration, digital art, painting, photography, collage, mixed media — as long as your work speaks.
We are especially interested in art that reflects personal, cultural, or political narratives, but this is not a requirement. What matters most is a strong, unique voice.
We’re excited to discover new talent and build meaningful connections through art.
Let’s create something powerful — together.
This is more than art. It’s a collective voice. A creative movement. A bridge between worlds.
We don’t know what this project will become in the future, and we don’t want to create conflict—we can’t fully understand each of your individual situations, but if you feel connected to others who may be like you, we would be grateful for the opportunity to build a shared space among us as creative individuals.
